Tessa “Tess” Cardinal is a creative freelancer working from Southern California and the Pacific Northwest. She produces illustrations with digital and traditional art media for the joy of bringing beauty and light to the world.  She creates art with a focus on animals and people, creatures and characters, the natural world, and the fantastical. 

Tess started drawing as a child, often getting lost in a drawing for hours at a time. In school, she would draw in all of her classes, and when her teachers would not let her bring her sketchbooks to class she would draw in the margins of her notes and on her skin in ballpoint pen ink.

Currently, Tess is studying art in every spare moment and building her art business from the ground up. Her hope is to eventually become a full-time fully self-employed illustrator.
