COMMISSION INFORMATION

Traditional Media Portrait (Half Body/ Bust) -> $50-$200

This includes a graphite portrait of any single subject you would like (pet/ animal/ creature/ person/ original character) with a simple background (gentle shading). If you want another character it will be + 50%.

Digital Portrait (Half Body/ Bust) -> $150-$300

This includes a digital portrait painting of a pet/ animal/ creature/ OC with a simple background (brush strokes). To add another animal character it’s +50%.

  • The product of this commission is a full color, high resolution digital file. If you would prefer a physical product, printing services are available for an additional charge. Alternatively, you can personally print your commission in the format you prefer or commission a traditional portrait instead (see above).

What Are Art Commissions?

  • You hire me to create a custom artwork for you!

What Is The Art Commission Process- How Does It Work?

  1.  APPLY: You submit an “Art Commission Request”  by clicking the “APPY NOW!” button on this page.
    • send me a brief description of what you would like me to create for you. Please include reference sheets and/ or reference photos of the subject that will help me understand your request.
  2.  REVIEW: I will review your request for a commission and let you know whether I accept your project, or not. I may offer you a waitlist spot if my commission slots are full at the time, and you may accept or deny your waitlist spot.
  3. DISCUSS: If your project is accepted, we will communicate and collaborate further on your vision for the project and come to an understanding of hopes and expectations. At this stage we will also decide on settle on a price for the project.
  4. SIGN AGREEMENT AND PAY: Once all details have been confirmed, you will be given a Commission Agreement to sign and then will be invoiced for the fees. A minimum of 50%  must be paid prior to work starting and is non refundable. The final 50% will be due before delivery of the final project.  
  5. APPROVAL:   I will create a rough sketch of your commission idea to ensure it meets your satisfaction.  After you accept the sketch major structural changes can no longer be made to your commission without incurring extra fees. 
  6. YOUR CREATION COMES TO LIFE! I will now make your Art Commission. You will get updates along the way so you can see your piece come to life. Upon completion,  any payments that are outstanding will be requested. Then your piece will be delivered to you!

What Do Art Commissions Cost?

  • Commissions will typically range between $50-300. The cost of an art commission is determined by the complexity of the project requested, as well as the time and materials required for the artist to complete it. 

Additional Information and Reminders:

  • Shipping costs for physical products will be an additional fee, on top of the cost of your commission.  The cost of shipping varies and will be dependent upon the size and weight of the physical product, and the location it is being shipped to. 
  • Printing for digital products is optional. If printing is opted for, there will be an additional fee, on top of the cost of your commission. The cost of printing is dependent upon the size and material of the print requested. Printing services will typically be completed by a professional printing company, hired by the artist.
  • All physical products are shipped unframed.  
  • Copyright: These art commissions are for personal use onlyArtist retains all copyright of the produced artwork. Ultimately this means that the customer has permission to share the work publicly and use it on display for private use but any reproduction of the work, especially reproductions that will be used for profit or commercial uses, is strictly prohibited unless approved by the artist in writing. Failing to do so is a crime and may result in legal action.

  • Sharing of Art: Social media sharing and other public sharing of artwork are vital for marketing purposes of the Artist. This includes, but is not limited to, artwork potentially being displayed on artist’s Facebook, Instagram, website, newsletters, brochures, web and print advertisements and business documents. If the customer does not consent to the sharing of art by the artist this may result in a higher price as it ultimately hurts the Artist’s ability to advertise their business representatively.
